What this means for your team

Make the next step easier.

  • Supported CSV import and mapping workflows
  • Validation before reviewed imports
  • Authorised exports
  • Manual accountant handoffs with a record

A working-day example

Bring demand information into planning

A manager has a CSV of expected demand and wants to use it as context for the next rota.

  1. 01

Choose the supported CSV import and review the required columns.

  2. 02

Upload the file and inspect the mapping and validation results.

  3. 03

Review and confirm the supported import.

  4. 04

Use the imported context in planning, with the original source and review history retained.

Illustrative workflow using synthetic examples.

Review before information becomes working data

Mapping and validation help make the source and proposed change visible.

  • Supported CSV templates and mappings
  • Validation and review states
  • Import outcome history

Export what your role allows

Take authorised information into your business's external review process.

  • Scoped report exports
  • Approved payroll packs
  • Manual accountant handoff records

Choose connections deliberately

A useful export does not have to pretend to be a live connection. Automatic provider connections need their own setup and review.

  • Clear supported format boundaries
  • Explicit review of external handoffs
  • Provider-specific connections only when separately supported

Useful answers

A closer look.

Does StaffSail connect automatically to my accounting software?

The current supported route uses reviewed CSV workflows and manual accountant handoffs. Automatic connections to a particular accounting, pension or payroll service require separate setup and acceptance.

Can I import any spreadsheet?

Imports need the supported CSV format and mapping for that workflow. Review validation results before confirming; an arbitrary spreadsheet is not automatically a supported import.
