What this means for your team

Make the next step easier.

  • Recruitment and consented talent-pool records
  • Starter details, documents and induction
  • Positions, qualifications and asset records
  • Private HR cases and leaver handoffs

A working-day example

Help a new starter feel ready for day one

A manager follows a joining checklist while the people team keeps documents and sensitive records in their proper place.

  1. 01

Move the selected candidate into the starter process.

  2. 02

Review the required details and requested documents.

  3. 03

Assign induction steps and track qualification evidence.

  4. 04

Record issued assets and keep the joining history for future reviews.

Illustrative workflow using synthetic examples.

Start with a connected joining process

Bring the steps around a new starter together, so the next action is easier to find.

  • Recruitment stages and consented records
  • Starter details and document workflows
  • Induction and probation tracking

Keep useful records close

Find the people information relevant to your role without opening every private record to every manager.

  • Dated positions and reporting lines
  • Private documents and qualification expiry
  • Asset issue and return history

Handle sensitive work carefully

Private case work and leaving need their own review, evidence and access controls.

  • Scoped HR cases and feedback
  • Leaver checklists and outstanding assets
  • Separate access and pay handoff steps

Useful answers

A closer look.

Does a manager title provide access to all HR records?

No. Job titles and reporting lines describe the organisation. Access depends on separately assigned permissions and scope, including specific controls for private HR information.

Does uploading a qualification make someone eligible for a shift?

A file alone does not verify eligibility. The relevant evidence must go through the supported qualification review process.

Can we retain people records after someone leaves?

The leaver process keeps the recorded history and outstanding handoffs visible to authorised users. Retention choices and business policy still need appropriate review.
